Stafford Singers perform around four to five concerts a year. These can be very
varied. We have sung at WIs, care homes, the local boat club, at a wedding,
charity events and Christmas Carol Concerts.
Every year we join up with Stafford Orchestra and perform our annual carol concert
which is always well attended. It gives the singers a chance to work with an orchestra,
performing Christmas music on their own and to join with the audience to sing favourite
carols.
Most of our other concerts are in aid of charities both local and national. We feel it is a particularly important part of the choir to support the local community. Charities we have worked with include Christian Aid, a local nursery school, local churches and the RNLI to name a few. We are approached by these charities to perform these concerts.
